Easy to Assemble and Set-Up
You don’t need tools or special hardware to assemble. Out of the box, you’ll see 10 light bars. Place those aside, pull out the ballast mounted on a couple of crossbars, and then line up the two clips on the remaining parts to create your frame. Now, you can add the light bars. They’re magnetic, and they snap into place.
If you’re by yourself, you might find it easier to hang the empty frame first and then add the light bars. Either way, it’s super easy to set up. Plug in your cords and turn it on. The lights are really bright at 100%, so make sure to wear your LED grow room glasses.
For Experienced Growers Only
PhotonTek’s 1000W LED grow light has impressive features, almost too many for first-time growers to wrap their heads around. For this reason, we recommend this light for experienced growers who want to increase their yields.
These lights require supplemental CO2. Turning up the lights to the highest intensity without CO2 is not recommended. Why? Raising light intensity will stimulate photosynthesis reaction, increasing CO2 and water needs.
If you’re not using supplemental CO2 with these lights, we recommend setting them up at a greater distance from the canopy to avoid light burn. Placing these lights further away can increase the coverage area to 6’x6’, although with lower levels of PPFD intensity concentration.
