Happy Sunday Canna Fam. Hope the last couple of weeks have been rewarding and positive for everybody! There have been a lot of amazing changes in my life that I wanted to be fully present for the last few weeks, but we are back in action now to discuss “The Power of Manifesting” this fine Sunday! For those of you who are strangers to the word, I would put manifesting in the same category as speaking something into existence or if you have ever participated in having a vision board. Manifesting happens when you believe in something so much, it’s as if you almost make it happen purely by your confidence and belief in it. Some may find the concept silly or even a little far-fetched, but I think if you start practicing it yourself, you may find it actually works. Let’s go over some ways you can practice bringing manifestation into your life.
Have you ever felt like you were having a bad day, and it was just one thing after another going wrong? Same here. I think we all have had those days. How many times did you find yourself during those bad days, speaking half of the crap you went through into existence because you already had given up on there being any chance your day could actually turn around? Me too. It is human to let yourself go to a negative place when it feels like the world is against you and nothing is going your way. The cool thing about manifesting is if you catch yourself manifesting for the bad, you can turn that mentality around quickly by changing how you speak to yourself or what you put out into the air. For example, my boyfriend and I practice manifestation on the daily when it comes to our work goals. We will communicate about the things that we want to see happen for the day, and we will speak about the day positively as if we already know it is going to be successful for us. Then, at the end of the day if it wasn’t all that great of a day, we still came at it with positive energy and a positive attitude, and you can know it wasn’t on you that it didn’t turn out exactly how you wanted. On the other hand, when it does turn out exactly as good as we spoke about, we are even more excited because we get to take credit for speaking that amazing positive day into existence!! Now there is always a chance one of us needs a little more positivity from the other, because we all have our moments where we get a little negative, so this is even more reason to not only practice manifestation yourself, but to surround yourself around people who also want positive things to happen for you and are willing to put that energy out there for you when you aren’t able to do so for yourself.
I think half of the battle to having successful manifestation is to let go of the self-sabotaging habits you have for yourself. A lot of us try to gain a sense of control over our lives by wanting things to go a certain way, but operating in a way that doesn’t necessarily allow us to attract the best energy. In order to allow the universe to have your back, sometimes you just have to let go of the things you can’t control and focus more on the energy you are putting out into the world. Is the way you treat yourself representative of someone who deserves the good things in life you imagine for yourself? If you are always hard on yourself and expect the world of yourself, sometimes without even realizing it, that is the energy you will put out into the universe and the people closest to you. When you are feeling a lot of pressure and those high expectations of yourself and others, it becomes harder to lighten the weight of that energy and let good things naturally come to you. Manifesting takes a lot of practice when our own thoughts can sometimes be our worst enemy.
If you find yourself having trouble with this concept of manifesting, or just feeling a little more negative in general lately, I challenge you moving forward this summer to really practice positivity. I may even give you a little homework here if you are up for it. Think about a person in your life that you just adore because they radiate positive energy. Think of all the ways that they make you feel when you are around them, and then write down 2 of those feelings that inspire you the most. Make it your mission in the month of June to give those 2 feelings back to these positive people that you interact with. I think sometimes we find those people we love to be around because they bring us joy and positivity, but we lose sight of ourselves in those moments and often fail to recognize if we are taking from a cup that we are never filling back up. It is important to be aware of what energy you are contributing to your environment. If you are always the one complaining, which trust me I know we are ALL capable of recognizing this about ourselves if we are this person, try to cut the habit. It is okay to recognize the areas where you may be contributing to your own bad days and take the steps to slowly change the way you are used to operating. Being negative is a hard habit to break because sometimes it just feels easier to feel sorry for yourself. However, once you realize the power of good energy and the manifesting you will be able to do with the positive environment you create, that is a magical place to be.
Overall, you may or may not feel like manifesting is something that’s for you, but I highly encourage you to at least try it. Whether it is that dream job you have been wanting, the woman or man you have been too nervous to make a move on, or just simple things like the way you want your morning to go; manifesting can be an extremely powerful tool. It is Sunday today, which gives you a fresh start tomorrow to speak into existence what you want for your week. Tell yourself the things you are going to accomplish, visualize how you see it going down, and share that positive energy with your support system. Always manifest the best for others, as well as yourself, as that will always come back full circle. It is okay to have bad days, but just try not to sulk in them. Instead of speaking out loud, “Man I am running late to work, this day is going to suck!”, try saying out loud “Well, the time management wasn’t on point today, but I learned from it, and I won’t let that happen again because I hate this feeling I get being late.” We can take accountability for our mistakes and our downfalls without letting the small things define us. We can screw up, and still get right back out there to make the rest of the day positive. I wish you all the best success with your manifestations this week. I am manifesting for all my readers that you guys find some peace in letting go, and that you are able to tap into that positive energy this upcoming week.
